From Evidence to Action
Our approach connects research, innovation, advocacy, digital technology, skills development, partnerships, and community action.
We work alongside communities, government, research institutions, and national and global partners to:
Our goal is not simply to deliver short-term interventions, but to contribute to stronger systems and communities that can continue creating positive change.
Our Approach
Implementation research is at the core of ENHANCE's work. We examine not only what works, but how, why, for whom, and under what conditions interventions, programmes, and policies work in real-world settings.
Our work is grounded in human-centred and decolonial approaches, recognising the value of local knowledge, lived experience, community agency, and context. We seek to move beyond extractive models of research by co-creating evidence with communities, policymakers, health workers, researchers, and other stakeholders. We work across the full pathway from co-creation of knowledge to evidence translation, supporting stakeholders to transform locally generated evidence into programmes, policies, practice, and sustainable action.
Our Commitment
The principles that anchor every program, partnership and decision we make.
Equitable
We strive to ensure that everyone has a fair opportunity to achieve better health and well-being.
Inclusive
We value the participation, voices, experiences, and knowledge of diverse communities.
Gender-Responsive
We recognize gender-related barriers and ensure our approaches respond to the different needs of women, girls, men, and boys.
Evidence-Informed
We use research, local knowledge, data, and learning to guide our decisions and interventions.
Sustainable
We prioritize solutions that can create lasting benefits for communities, institutions, and future generations.
